We have decided to put our Breedings of Toller Doodles on Hold and switch our focus on Nova Scotia Duck Tollers.
If you are interested in a Toller Doodle Please still contact us as we are keeping a log of interest.
Our dogs are our family pets, and our first goal is to produce happy, loving, healthy, socialized and intelligent family pets. We are NOT a Kennel.
Our first breeding is between a Standard Poodle and a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever to create a Toller Doodle.
Why a Toller Doodle? We wanted to combine the best of both worlds!
Standard Poodles are intelligent, easy to train, obedient loyal, and all around great family dog. A relatively unknown fact about them is that they were originally used to retrieve ducks, due to their high intelligence they are easily trained for many uses.
A Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is one of the smallest of the retrievers weighing around 35Lbs. They have an extremely high energy drive which is great in agility, hiking and any type of water sports. They are also intelligent, affectionate and eager to please.
Mugsy’s Doodles is growing with our Newest addition being a Nova Scotia Duck Toller Retriever. She is an energetic girls who loves to retrieve all day. She is a bit more on the stockier size due to her many hours of exercise and running around the yard not much stopping this girl. She is about that 40lbs mark
